We use RFID chip timing. RFID timing captures participant IDs and precise time stamps at key checkpoints—such as the start, finish, and splits—using radio frequency technology. Readers, antennas, and transponder chips attached to bibs or shoes record results down to the millisecond.
This system provides highly accurate timing for events like road races, marathons, and cycling events, and can scale from simple setups to advanced solutions with live results.
We’re happy to provide custom race bibs, and we also offer generic bibs if you’re still unsure about your participant numbers or are just getting started.
Run Home Racing partners with RunSignup for all your race registration needs. We can set up donations, team information, custom questions, and manage every aspect of your event entries.
RunSignup is a comprehensive endurance event platform that supports promotion, registration, fundraising, and participant management. Features include custom event websites, social sharing and referral tools, mobile-friendly registration, team and group management, flexible pricing options, digital waivers, merchandise sales, and detailed reporting. Integrated analytics and participant self-service tools help reduce organizer workload while enhancing the overall race experience.
This is a standard feature—and the question you’ll hear most on race day: Where can I find my results?
We’ll set up your results page so participants can opt in to receive notifications as soon as they cross the finish line.
If you don’t use RunSignup, we’re happy to post your results to the platform of your choice or provide them in whatever format you prefer.
If you’d like, we can provide a finish-line image for every participant. This can be customized for each event, and we’re happy to work with you in whatever format best fits your needs.
Never put on a race before and not sure where to start? We’re happy to help. Every initial conversation begins with a checklist and a review of the basic requirements to ensure your event has the right tools in place, is safe, and is properly approved by your local town or city.
Like any new endeavor, the unknown can be more stressful than having a full to-do list. Let’s talk and build a plan that works best for your race.
We believe this is the most important part of any event. A well-designed course leads to higher participation, but there are many factors to consider. Are you closing too many roads? Are the start and finish too far apart to manage efficiently? Will the course require additional volunteers?
As your event grows in the years ahead, will your course design scale effectively to support that growth?
Ideally, you don’t want to make major changes later—so let’s work together now to ensure your course is built for both your event today and its future growth.
We’ll help you identify the best resources to fit your needs—from online marketing and email campaigns to free website listings and grassroots promotion. Once we discuss your goals, we’ll work together to create a plan that works best for you and your event.
